Hanging of pipe routes, ventilation and other fastenings when threaded rods are required. It’s possible to remove the fastener easily without leaving any protruding parts.

The EKD drop-in anchor is approved as an anchor in a redundant* system for a non-structural application in cracked and non-cracked concrete. Anchors with a setting depth of at least 30 mm are also approved for load-bearing installation in non-cracked concrete. Drop-in anchors with a depth of 25 mm are approved in pre-tensioned hollow core slabs. Installation must be carried out using the intended tool.

* Redundant means that several fasteners together carry a load and allow one to fail, but the remaining fasteners must then be able to handle the load.
