The insulation fastener keeps insulation boards securely in place. How does an insulation fastener work? The insulation fastener is expanded by driving in an internal pin during installation. This creates powerful expansion, providing secure anchorage in the substrate. The textured washer is designed to ensure good adhesion for plaster and render systems. For soft insulation materials, the insulation fastener can be fitted with an additional washer to provide a larger bearing surface and improved fixing performance.
