CONCRETE SCREW EUS2-HF, HEX FLANGE, ZINC FLAKE

ESSVE Concrete Screw EUS2-HF is a high-performance screw that is quickly installed and offers high load values. The screw is designed for both permanent and temporary installations where reliability is crucial. Common temporary applications include guardrails and wall braces.

A unique advantage of the Concrete Screw EUS2-HF is its third-party approved re-use capability in temporary installations, making it a more sustainable and cost-effective choice. After disassembly, the screw can be re-used if the wear on the threads is first checked with ESSVE's special test sleeve. Even if the concrete screw is not re-used immediately, the easy disassembly is also a benefit compared to other concrete fastenings for when the construction component the screw is used in has ultimately reached its intended lifespan. The screw is also suitable for permanent installations where steel or wooden components need to be securely fastened to concrete, such as handrails or beams.

The screw is CE marked based on our ETA for installation in both cracked and non-cracked concrete (so called ETA Option 1), ensuring its versatility and reliability in various construction applications. The smallest dimension in the range 7.5(6) also has a separate ETA for installation in hollow core slabs.

ESSVE Concrete Screw EUS2-HF features a hexagon head with a flange and is made of special hardened steel with a zinc flake surface treatment (C3), suitable for moderately corrosive outdoor environments.

The screw's thread enables quick installation while achieving high load values. The induction-hardened tip easily cuts threads in both soft and hard concrete (C20/25 – C50/60), while the ductile shaft reduces the risk of steel damage at high tightening torques or when the drill hole is not perfectly perpendicular.

Concrete Screw EUS2-HF is also available in electro zinc plated or stainless versions.

The first value indicated in the product dimension is the outer thread measurement, and the value in parentheses indicates which drill bit should be used, e.g., ""10,5(8)"". Clean the hole after drilling, or drill deep enough to ensure that drilling debris does not prevent the correct installation depth.

For optimal installation, the use of an impact driver is recommended. The concrete screw does not require a reaching a specific tightening torque to ensure correct installation, which is needed for wedge anchors. When the screw head reaches the fastening detail, the installation is complete.

Avoid over-tightening the screw by not exceeding the torque specified on the packaging.
