ESSVE Wedge Anchor A4 is a stainless steel wedge anchor designed for demanding outdoor environments. It is primarily designed for fastening steel plates, brackets, channels, Z-profiles, and other heavy steel components to concrete. The anchor can also be used for timber fixings, provided a larger washer is used to distribute the load under the nut.

ESSVE Wedge Anchor A4 is a wedge anchor bolt, also referred to as a concrete anchor, expansion bolt, or mechanical anchor. The expansion clip locks securely onto the conical part of the bolt when the nut is tightened, ensuring a reliable anchorage in concrete. Supplied with nut and washer, the anchor features a strike cap that protects the threads during installation, ensuring easy and safe fixing. Since the drill diameter equals the bolt diameter, the anchor grips immediately when driven into the hole. The product is not supplied with CE/ETA but comes with documented load values. For applications that require CE/ETA, we recommend ESSVE Wedge Anchor EST1 A4 instead.

- Drill a hole with the same diameter as the anchor bolt (see min. drilling depth in load table). Only rough cleaning is required.
- Drive the wedge anchor to the specified installation depth.
- Tighten the nut to the prescribed torque (see load table).
- Installation complete, secure, stainless steel fixing.
