The ESSVE facade screw is designed for the installation of wooden facades and panels, mainly outdoors, against wood substrates. The screw is fitted with a fiber cutter and cylindrical head.

Screw length selection should be adjusted so that the screw does not penetrate windproofing layers.

The screw is made of stainless steel A4 for very exposed environments such as facades of exclusive wood, heat treated wood, facades with corrosive surface treatment such as ex. iron vitrol as well as facades on the coast.

Stainless screws are also preferred in facades as weather and wind generate movements where uncured screw is the best choice. Facade screw 4.4x60 is a thinner screw intended for smaller applications, such as storage sheds, etc.

The screw is fitted with a fiber cutter to minimize cracking and reduce the tightening torque.

The small torx socket cap head with gripping thread underneath gives a good countersink and a good grip in the façade board.

The screw is fitted with TX bracket / bits.

NOTE! The screw has a small head that is countersunk into the wood, making the assembly very discreet. However, you need to paint over the screw to seal the entry hole in the wood. By painting over it, the risk of absorbing moisture, discoloration, and/or eventually exposing the facade to rot is reduced.
