ESSVE Concrete screw designed for quick and easy fixing in concrete, brick, hollow block and hollow brick.

Specially hardened screw that can be screwed directly into a drilled hole without a plug. It is fully threaded with a “hi-low” thread which facilitates installation. The screw is produced in hardened carbon steel with bright zinc plated or CorrSeal surface treatment. Generally, the loading capacity is improved by increasing the fixing depth. For fixing in materials other than concrete a pull-out test should be made according to the evaluation method approved by Boverket, (The Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning) to produce an applicable practical load bearing capacity. The concrete screw is also tested and approved for pulsating loads.

An impact screwdriver is recommended for installation. NOTE! The concrete screw does not require a pre-tensioning torque to ensure fixing. The torque applied must not be greater than required to hold what is fixed in place. Tightening torques specified in the table must not be exceeded.
