ESSVE's Indu-Prog Frame Sleeve is a universal frame anchoring system that works well regardless of the material the window or door is being mounted into. The frame sleeve is either pre-installed upon delivery of the window and/or door or mounted on-site. The sleeve is used together with Indu-Prog wood, concrete, lightweight concrete, or steel screws. The wall material determines which Indu-Prog screw to use with the frame sleeve.

The advantage of using the Indu-Prog frame sleeve for window and door installations is that it can be used with all materials, and the installation is easily adjustable.

ESSVE Indu-Prog Frame Sleeve is made of zinc and comes in two lengths, 28 and 38 mm. If the sleeve’s length is not sufficient, it can be extended using the green spacer washers available in the range. The length of the frame sleeve is determined by the joint width and the weight of the installation.

Indu-Prog Frame Sleeve 28 mm

• For installing lighter windows and doors
• Joint width 0-13 mm
• With the spacer washer, the sleeve can handle up to 23 mm

Indu-Prog Frame Sleeve 38 mm

• For installing heavier exterior doors or larger windows
• Joint width of 0-23 mm
• With the green spacer washer, it can handle joint widths up to 33 mm

Externally, the Indu-Prog frame sleeve consists of a 20 mm hex plate and an M16-threaded anchoring section. The M16 thread makes the frame sleeve ideal for frames made of aluminum, steel, or wood. Inside the Indu-Prog frame sleeve is a 10 mm internal hex.

Screw the frame sleeves into the pre-drilled 14 mm holes in the frame (if no holes are present, drill using a frame screw drill). Screw the sleeves in from the outside of the frame, ensuring the sleeve is mounted at least 15 mm into the frame.

Start by screwing in the bottom sleeves so they press against the wall, then screw in the top ones. Adjust the frame by screwing the sleeves in or out toward the wall. Then install the Indu-Prog screws into the wall through the frame and sleeve. Choose the screws based on the wall material.

Important to consider:

• Ensure that the frame is installed according to applicable standards, where the depth, width, and height determine the number of attachment points.
• If you are attaching the frame to concrete or brick, pre-drill for the screw with a 6 mm drill bit. Drill through the sleeve into the wall.
• When installing the frame in lightweight concrete, you must use a load distribution washer.
• For heavier installations, such as exterior doors or large windows, you need to stabilize the installation with a load distribution washer to prevent the sleeve from embedding into the wall material.
