LEVEL SCREW 7,0X65 FOR FRAME MOUNTING TX30/HEX20 EZP

The leveling screw for mounting frames is made of hardened carbon steel with a bright zinc-plated surface treatment for indoor environments, C1.

It is equipped with a fiber-cutting tip, a long threaded section that provides good load-bearing capacity, and a large head that prevents sinking into the underside of the frame. The screw head consists of a round concave washer on top with a TX30 drive for mounting, and a 20 mm hex washer for post-adjustment. The post-adjustment is done with the ESSVE Adjustment Tool.

Normally, two leveling screws should be used per window—divided windows with a mullion should also have a screw under the mullion. If you are installing a door, more screws are needed at the bottom since the threshold will be under load, requiring additional screws for support. Place the screws as close to the outer edges of the frame as possible and screw them down to the desired depth. Then, level the screws with a spirit level and adjust them to be level using the ESSVE Adjustment Tool. The air gap under the frame should be approximately 15 mm.

• In brick, pre-drill with a 5 mm hole
• In lightweight concrete, pre-drill with a 10 mm hole, then supplement the leveling screw with a plug
